1. General information about the processing of personal data

Below, We will inform you about the recording and processing of personal data when you take advantage of Services offered by RIPAC-LABOR GmbH (diagnostic Services and/or livestock-specific vaccinations, referred to hereinafter as "Services"). We will always inform you about the processing of your personal data when using our Website www.ripac-labor.de (hereinafter referred to as the "Website"). Personal data refers to individual information about personal or factual matters concerning an identified or identifiable natural person.
1.2. The person responsible as per Art. 4, Para. 7 GDPR is RIPAC-LABOR GmbH (hereinafter referred to as "Ripac"or "We"), Am Mühlenberg 11, 14476 Potsdam, Germany, e-mail: email@example.com (see our Imprint). You can contact our data protection officer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
1.3. All personal data is processed entirely according to the provisions of the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Germany's Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).
1.4. This data protection declaration is exclusively concerned with how We handle your personal data. If you should use links on our Website to visit third party websites, the data protection provisions of these third parties apply exclusively; We do not check the data protection provisions of third parties.
1.5. If We make use of certain service providers for individual functions within our offering, We will inform you below in detail about the processes in question.
2. Processing of personal data when you avail of our Services
2.1. To be able to provide one of our Services, We require the contact data, address and payment information of the animal owner in order to be able to contact him/her and to provide the desired Service. We also need the address data of the livestock. Jobs and orders can be submitted by phone, by fax, be e-mail or via our online order form. Please note the additional instructions under item 3.4. regarding the online ordering process. Data is also stored for the purposes of processing warranty claims and for technical administration. We also need the contact data of the responsible veterinarian in order to ask any question that We may need to ask about the livestock. The veterinarian's contact data is also required in order to be able to accept a vaccination order, as this kind of order may only be placed by a registered veterinarian. The address data of the veterinarian's practice is needed if the vaccine is to be sent there. The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6, Para. 1 p. 1 item b) GDPR.
2.2. For the execution of our Services, your data will be stored as per Art. 6, Para. 1, p. 1 item b) GDPR together with the sample submitted. Personal data is stored for at least as long as the bacteria strain stored is destroyed and/or there is no longer a business relationship.
2.3. We pass your data on to our delivery service to allow them to deliver your goods. This passing on of the data is based on Art. 6, Para. 1 p. 1 item b) GDPR.
3. Processing of personal data due to use of our Website
3.1.When visiting our Website
When you use our Website for information purposes only, i.e. when you do not actively transmit information to us, We only record the personal data that your browser sends to our server (server log files/access data). To ensure that you can view our Website, We record the following data as per Art. 6 Para. 1 p. 1 item f) GDPR as this data is technically required for us to be able to display our Website to you and to guarantee its stability and security:
name and content of the Website called up, IP address, date and time of the query, time zone difference from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), the amount of data transmitted, access status/HTTP status code (referrer URL), browser type, your operating system and its interface, the language and the version of the browser software.
3.3. Using our contact form
When you communicate with us using the contact form, We store the data you supply (your name, your e-mail address) in order to answer your question. The legal basis of this is Art. 6, Para. 1 p. 1 item b) GDPR and/or, if the data is being supplied voluntarily, Art. 6, Para. 1 p. 1 item, a) GDPR. We delete the data We collect in this context once storing it is no longer required, or We restrict the processing thereof if legal retention periods apply.
3.4. When making an online order via our order form
We collect, store and process personal data as per Art. 6, Para. 1 item. a) or b) GDPR for the entire processing of the service in question, including the processing of any warranty claims and technical administration.
If you would like to place an order via our Website, the conclusion of the contract means that you need to give us the personal data required for processing your order, i.e. the name and address of the animal owner and/or the ordering party, the type of order, the address of the veterinarian responsible and, if applicable, the address of the livestock. You have the right to supply your contact data only (at least name, e-mail address). We will then contact you in order to process your order. The required information for your contact query is marked separately; other information is voluntary.
3.5. Inclusion of Services from third parties for the purpose of web hosting
We use servers belonging to a third party provider who enables us to provide you with our Services via our websites (web hosting). The legal basis for this is Art. 6, Para. 1 p. 1 item b) GDPR. Stock data, contact data, content data, contractual data, usage data, meta- and communication data belonging to customers, potentials and visitors to our online offering are transmitted to the service provider. Our host provider's servers are in Germany.
4. Duration of storage and routine deletion
4.1. We process and store personal data only for the period that is required until the purpose of processing has been fulfilled or if laws or provisions to which the processing party is subject require it. We will review grounds for data retention every 10 years.
4.2. Due to commercial and tax reasons, We are required to store your address, payment and order data for ten years.
4.3. If a reason for storage no longer applies, or if a legally required storage period is over, personal data will be blocked or deleted in accordance with legal requirements.
5. Rights of affected parties
5.1. As per Art. 15 GDPR, you have the right to request information about personal data that has been stored free of charge. As per Art. 16, 17 and 18 GDPR, you also have the right to have incorrect data corrected and to have your personal data blocked or deleted or to have the processing thereof restricted. Under the provisions of Art. 20 GDPR, you are also authorised to receive a copy of the personal information about you that has been stored in a structured, common and machine-readable format and to transmit this information to another responsible person without being prevented from doing so by Ripac. As per Art. 21, Para. 1 GDPR, you are also entitled to file an objection to the processing of personal data concerning you as per Art. 6, Para. 1 p. 1 item e) or f) GDPR for reasons arising from your particular situation. RIPAC will fulfil your aforementioned rights to the extent that the legal prerequisites for the enforcement of your rights exist.

5.3. You also have the right to submit a complaint to a data protection authority about the processing of your personal data by us.
6. Currency and amendments to this Data Protection Declaration
This Data Protection Declaration is currently valid and is dated July 2018. The advancement of our Website and our offering or amendments to legal or regulatory provisions may make it necessary to amend this Data Protection Declaration.
