MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry offers certainty. It makes the unique protein-mass spectrum of a pathogen strain visible and compares it to the reference spectra of all pathogens. This allows micro-organisms to be determined with certainty within a few minutes.

The pathogens must be contained within a culture in order to be identified. To this end, we have developed special cultivation methods and enrichment processes for every type of bacterium over the years. Is your plant safe? Certain biogas substrates hide the risk of pathogenic germs. To ensure that these germs and their poisonous toxins cannot enter the environment together with the fermentation residues and thus enter the food chain, it makes sense to take random samples.
At RIPAC-LABOR, we examine your samples for Clostridium botulinum, including its neurotoxins, for other pathogenic clostridia species, for enterobacteria (EHEC, salmonella, APEC, ESBI...) and for parasites and fungal spores.
Our polyclonal agglutinative serums capture the desired bacterial antigens in rapid testing. The specific antigen antibody reaction of the antiserum is used for the indirect detection of an infection in the animal's blood serum (slide agglutination).
